Accurate Records founder and Either/Orchestra and Lookie Lookie leader Gershon steps up front with his array of instruments in the Trio. Most sets feature tenor, alto and soprano saxes, as well as flute and voice.
Accompanied by an assortment of bassists and drummers, Gershon plays a wide range of material, from Ellington and Mingus to the Monkees and the Grateful Dead, always with a heaping helping of Rahsaan Roland Kirk, as well as original compositions.
Regulars include bassists Blake Newman and Rick McLaughlin, and drummers Phil Neighbors, Luther Gray and Oscar Suchanek.
